• Oversee, analyze, and manage ULS Projects’ accounting records such as
accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers, fixed assets, cash
and cash equivalent management, taxation etc.;
• Check or assist tax agency for monthly tax return and annual tax on income;
• Assist in specifically creating internal controls, accounting policies and
process improvement of workflows;
• Be responsible for timely monthly reporting;
• Develop and supervise Accountants and Junior Accountants;
• Undertake tasks as assigned by Chief Accountant-Projects and Finance
Director.
• Support the Chief Accountant – Projects in setting-up a Project in the
accounting system;
• Review and produce monthly financial reports such as balance sheets, profit
or loss and cash flows for Management;
• Ensure financial information produced are accurate and reconciled to
accounting records;
• Produce and assist external auditor for yearly financial statements audit.
• Assist Project Managers with budgeting;
• Analyze financial and non-financial information when assisting with budgeting;
• Assist in cash flow forecasting, investigate and report variances to Chief
Accountant - Projects and Finance Director.
**** Education &Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent;
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA or pursuing these qualifications are appreciated;
- At least 4 or 5 years’ experience in construction, real estate or property development sector;
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skill advantageous);
- Working knowledge of MS Dynamics Business Central preferred or with similar ERP systems;
- Strong communication, leadership skills with ability to work effectively with all staff;
- Accustomed to working in a fast-pace, unstructured and complex environment;
- Familiarity with Cambodian finance and tax laws is mandatory.
** Languages: Fluent in English.
*** Other information
- Working hours: Approximately 40-45 hours per week; primary work days shall be Monday to Friday 9 AM – 6 PM with occasional offsite work.
- Work outside of official hours will be required on occasions.
- Siem Reap, Cambodia.
