Back-End Developer (Night-Shift Part Time)

Role Overview: As a Backend Developer, you’ll leverage your expertise in both Go and Node.js to design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our applications deliver a seamless and reliable experience for end-users.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and backend services using Go and Node.js. • Optimize and refactor code for performance and scalability, addressing latency and ensuring low downtime. • Collaborate with product and frontend teams to define and implement solutions that meet client requirements. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with comprehensive documentation. • Manage data integrations with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring secure and reliable data transactions. • Implement security and data protection protocols in alignment with industry best practices. • Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot backend issues, performing root cause analysis and delivering timely fixes. • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. • 2+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, with hands-on expertise in both Go and Node.js. • Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and knowledge of GraphQL is a plus. • Strong understanding of concurrent programming and performance optimization in Go. • Experience with Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS) and asynchronous programming. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development practices. • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues in a distributed environment. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
