Building Safety Manager

Job Summary: The Building Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring that all company buildings meet safety standards and comply with legal regulations. This role will involve developing, implementing, and overseeing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and coordinating with external safety agencies when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement safety policies and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular inspections of buildings to identify potential safety hazards. Ensure the building complies with fire, safety, and health regulations. Coordinate emergency response drills and training for all staff. Liaise with external safety organizations and inspectors to ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Maintain records of all safety-related incidents and inspections. Identify and implement safety improvements where needed. Provide safety training to employees to promote awareness of safety protocols. Prepare reports on safety performance and present recommendations for improvements. Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and in working order. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Building Safety Manager or in a similar role related to safety compliance. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential safety hazards. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with multiple teams and manage safety programs effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred).
