**Job Description: Business Consultant
**Position:** Business Consultant **Location:** Cambodia (Koh Pich) **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in business consulting, with strong connections to Cambodian Ministries (e.g., Ministry of Commerce (MOC), Ministry of Labor (MOL)) and proficiency in Chinese.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Provide strategic advisory services to clients on business development, regulatory compliance, and market entry in Cambodia. - Leverage established relationships with key government ministries (e.g., MOC, MOL) to facilitate approvals, licenses, and compliance processes. - Monitor and interpret changes in policies, regulations, and laws affecting clients' industries. - Act as a liaison between clients and government entities to ensure smooth communication and collaboration. - Support clients in navigating labor laws, trade regulations, and investment incentives. - Develop and maintain a strong network with government officials and stakeholders. - Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals to address client needs and government requirements. - Assist Chinese-speaking clients in understanding and complying with Cambodian regulations and business practices.
**Qualifications:** - Proven experience working with Cambodian government ministries, particularly MOC and MOL. - Strong understanding of Cambodian business regulations, labor laws, and investment policies. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to analyze and interpret legal and regulatory frameworks. - Fluency in English, Khmer, and Chinese (Mandarin); additional languages are a plus.
**Preferred Skills:** - Experience in industries such as manufacturing, trade, or labor-intensive sectors. - Knowledge of investment incentives and trade agreements in Cambodia. - Strong problem-solving and project management abilities. - Experience working with Chinese businesses or investors in Cambodia.
