Your primary responsibility will be to support the chefs and cooks in various food preparation tasks, ensuring efficiency and consistency in our kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in food preparation activities, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces. - Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately to maintain food quality and consistency. - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders. - Help with inventory management by restocking ingredients and notifying the supervisor of low supplies. - Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times to ensure the health and safety of customers and coworkers. Requirements: - Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required. - Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and cleanliness standards. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
