Main Missions
To provide professional leadership for the school, which secures its success and improvement, ensuring high quality education for all its pupils and good standards of learning and achievement. He/she will have to report to the Operations Director and attend a weekly meeting with all the Pedagogical team, including the Pedagogy Director. The secondary school has around 320 students and around 40 teachers
Main tasks and routine activities
Strategic direction and school development plan
• Develop and continue to implement a school Development Plan, which will secure continuous school improvement.
• Establish annual operational school timetable
• Work with parents to maximize their involvement in the school
• Monitor school performance, and report to Pedagogy and Operations Directors as required.
Leading and managing staff
• Efficient and effective deployment of staff and resources
• Work closely with HR Department/office in Teacher management and recruitment
• Manage, monitor and review the range, quality and use of all available resources in order to improve the quality of education, improve pupils’ achievements, ensure efficiency
• Make arrangements for the security and effective supervision of the students.
• Appraisal of Teachers and Staff Plan, allocate, support and evaluate work undertaken by groups, teams and individuals Prepare and follow up weekly staff attendance records)
Leadership and management on curriculum implementation
1. Teaching and learning management
• Leading curriculum implementation and improvement
• Creating a learner-centered environment
• Supervising and evaluating teachers´ performance
2. Student Assessment and Evaluation:
• Check and revise scores, records, and reports of the results of tests to evaluate students’ growth and progress.
• Lead class counsels
• Check records of formative assessment result.
• Supervise in the process formative and summative exams.
• Evaluate students’ learning difficulty and find the adapted support to them.
Build good connection
• Ensure that parents/careers and pupils are well informed about the curriculum, attainment and progress and about the contribution they can make in supporting their child’s learning
• Conduct parental meeting to discuss about students´ academic performance
• Arrange different meetings with Sosa or School life to find out the proper support to students
• Ensure that pupils develop study skills in order to learn more effectively and with increasing independence.
• Other tasks
- Organize and take part in school events, workshops, trainings, outings and activities which may take place weekends or evenings
- Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly
- Meet with other professionals such as education welfare officers and educational psychologists, if required.
- Respect school rules and regulations.
- Attend staff and department meetings (pedagogy and general).
- Take part or create new educational project or tool to be conducted with all the Schools (primary, lower secondary and high school)
Profile required:
 Bachelor degree in the field/subject or higher
 Certificate of High School Teacher (Bachelor+1) issued by MoEYS or Master of Education
 At least 5 years teaching experience
 Leadership and Management experience necessary (1 year at least)
Qualities and skill required:
 Love and commit to teach underprivileged girls
 Adaptability and a willingness to be flexible
 Reflective and innovative teaching practitioner
 Fluent English, French is an advantage

Computer skill:
 Full computer skills, especially with Pack Office, Gmail
Conditions:
- 23 days of annual leave + public holidays
- Free transportation from PNP to Preak Thmey + free lunch at school
- Working hours: 40 hours/weekly from Monday to Friday.
