- To ensure stock is kept safe and in first-class condition - To operate stock control and records system. - To report appropriate stock level for demanding to stock controller. - To ensure all stock records are up-to-date and accurate. - To carry out annual and monthly stock-taking to ensure the accuracy of records. - To ensure stock damage and wastage do not exceed agreed limits. - To ensure that stock is only issued in accordance with policy regarding payment or charge. - To guard against unauthorized withdrawal from stock. Job Requirements - To be numerate and literate at the clerical level required. - To understand basic vehicle layout, function, and location of parts. To be able to identify parts. - To have received training in standard stock-keeping system used. - To use stock control and location equipment. - To be capable of courteous service to customers. - Keen attention to detail and accuracy - Be able to work overtime and under pressure.
