Line Producer Job Description
Strategic planning for the shooting project creatively to ensure the filming is done safely, creatively and on budget and on time
Working closely with heads of departments, decide how the money gets spent, delivering the best possible product to the producer while offering the director and heads of department enough money to realize the vision
Sourcing talents, locations, and prop. Oversee for all the deal, contracts, paper works with external parties including
Understand the artistry of film-making, foresee pitfalls and disasters and never let the spend extend beyond the bottom line
Planning and keep track of the budget and the shooting process. Dealing with the unexpected and helping find creative solutions.
Creatively prepare pre-production materials
Organize off-site productions
Oversee production process and make sure external party are on set on time (talents, make-up, stylish, etc)
At the end of the shoot, oversee the wrap, or winding down, of the production and hand over to the post-production supervisor.
Others tasks assigned by management
Requirement
Proven record of experience in the film production field
Strong problem solver
Flexible and be able to adapt with urgency
Passion about video production and advertising
Strong communication externally and internally
