Job Description:
- Develop comprehensive event project plans, including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budgeting
- Coordinate with clients to understand their vision and objectives for the event, ensuring all aspects align with their expectations
- Negotiate contracts with venues, vendors, and entertainers to secure services that meet quality and budgetary requirements
- Design and implement marketing and promotional strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement
- Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring all elements run smoothly and according to plan
- Manage event staff and volunteers, assigning duties, and providing guidance and training as necessary
- Handle any logistical challenges that arise during the event, making real-time decisions to resolve issues without impacting on the guest experience
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from attendees, clients, and staff to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, or business administration
- Typically come with a background rich in hands-on experience in planning, coordinating, and executing events
- Communicating and collaborating effectively with sponsors, vendors, speakers, and attendees ensures alignment with the event’s objectives
- Ability to manage multiple events and people simultaneously.
