We have 2 positions available: Day Shift (1 position) : 48 hours/week from Monday to Saturday, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm (1 hour break) Night Shift (1 position) : 48 hours/week from Monday to Saturday, 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm (1 hour break) The job begins on November 27, 2024 Starting net salary of $900, plus quarterly performance bonuses of up to $450 based on individual and team results. Additional benefits include insurance coverage and team-building outings. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We are seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to lead our production team and drive efficient, high-quality operations at our indoor farming facility. The Supervisor will oversee daily operations at our indoor production facility, managing a team of six to ten to ensure optimal productivity and high-quality standards, with a monthly production target of 12 tons. Operating in a climate-controlled environment at 18 degrees Celsius, this role requires excellent physical condition and the stamina to remain standing for extended periods to effectively supervise and support your team. You will be responsible for maintaining employees’ work pace, coordinating with the Farm Manager, and ensuring adherence to the company's production and hygiene standards. Your team will handle tasks such as harvesting and filling/emptying the growth chambers. No prior agricultural experience is required, but you must demonstrate strong leadership skills and effective communication in both English and Khmer. You should also possess a strong capacity to learn and follow processes at various stages of the production cycle while proactively building your skills. The company will provide all necessary protocols, procedures, and training during your onboarding. Due to the nature of farm operations, the Supervisor may be required to work weekends on a rotating schedule. Competitive pay will be offered based on experience. Mission : 1- Daily Operations Management: - Serve as the liaison between the Farm Manager and your team to ensure clear communication. - Oversee picking and loading activities, ensuring production deadlines are met. - Supervise the filling and emptying of crop chambers, enforcing adherence to protocols and hygiene rules to minimize contamination risks. - Manage workflow efficiently at the beginning and end of cycles. - Provide operational insights and feedback to the Farm Manager. - Conduct field surveys and address anomalies, such as pest issues or contamination. - Other tasks may be assigned to you. 2- Harvest Management: - Supervise daily harvesters to ensure alignment with growth cycles and directives. - Ensure timely harvests that meet quality and freshness standards. - Maintain clean and intact crop areas post-harvest. - Organize tools and ensure proper equipment cleanliness and maintenance. - Track team performance daily, including yield and hygiene processes, allowing farmers to claim bonuses based on evaluations. - Generate daily production reports to identify and resolve issues promptly and update the farmers' performance table. 3- Team Leadership: - Guide and motivate team members, providing constructive feedback and growth opportunities. - Mentor entry-level employees and support newcomers in their tasks. - Identify training needs and ensure appropriate training for staff. - Promote effective communication within the team and facilitate ongoing training. 4- Safety and Compliance: - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Conduct regular inspections for proper use of work gear and adherence to safety protocols. - Report any violations or incidents to the appropriate departments. 5- Resource Management: - Manage farm resources, including personnel, equipment, and operational materials for your team. - Maintain inventory to prevent shortages and coordinate with accounting for necessary orders. - Identify areas for process improvements to enhance productivity and quality. - Keep accurate records and manage data in the field and through mobile applications. Expected profil : - Khmer native language with advanced level in English, both written and verbal. - Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork. - Proven leadership and communication abilities. - Ability to work under supervision and adapt to the unique demands of farm life.
