Job Duties & Responsibilities: • Provides highest possible level of customer service level to all Hanuman passengers, suppliers and partners • Provides effective daily leadership and professional management of the Operationsteam in Siem Reap, guides and drivers. • Controls all feedback from operations members and tour guides. • Continually monitors, analyses and identifies potential improvements for all Hanuman products and services. • Develops new, unique and relevant products/services supported by accurate and detailed research, • Consistently achieves operational goals as set by the GM Further develops and continuously improves Hanurnan guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure consistent deliveries of services from Tour guides and Drivers. • Implements effective crisis-management practices and strategies towards finding successful solutions to quickly correct any major operational issues e .g. major Itinerary changes, serious complaints, on - the ground emergencies. • Schedules tour guides, briefs them before each tour and closes the tour with each leader. Apply and further develop internal feedback systems to serve negotiations with our suppliers and assist with performance appraisals. • Effectively communicates monitors and enforces the Hanuman Tours Operations Department policies and procedures, whilst also ensuring accuracy and consistency of these practices throughout. • Consistently motivate team members to improve their daily performance levels with an aim towards exceeding industry service standards. • Effectively manages the operations team by delegating task/staff and coordinating departments, to effectively handle workloads, training, staff appraisals and other Human Resource matters. • Develops and communicates departmental goals to all team members whilst working with each team and individual to achieve Hanumans strategic objectives. • Continuously evaluates Hanuman products/services, whilst also offering practical suggestions for updating/refreshing products and services to exceed our client's expectations, • Frequently researches new products/services to improve industry knowledge and identify new market trends. Oversees the development of new itineraries and conducts follow-up training sessions for guides/team to help ensure a consistent, smooth, accurate and professional delivery for all programs. • Monitor and ensure that any internally fraudulent and under-the{able "staff or freelance" commission schemes are quickly identified, reported to management and subsequently penalized. • Develop benchmarks and regularly update supplier and tour related costs. • Clearly communicate our operational policies to all suppliers and staff members. • Regularly review Hanuman costs to ensure accuracy and to help identify measures where costs can be saved (without sacrificing quality). Conduct frequent service review sessions with key suppliers and staff to ensure that Hanuman is consistently providing the highest level of services/products to all of our highly valued clientele. • Investigate and highlight any questionable "expense claims" submitted by the team (guides/drivers, etc...) and work with Hanuman Management to help identify/solve any problem issues. • Work closely with the "Purchasing" team. • Skill fully negotiates with our key suppliers and local partners to ensure that we always receive the most competitive industry rates possible (as we give suppliers more clients every year, we would expect their cost per head would go down). Jobs Requirement: - Male/Female - Strong in leadership and motivation, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills. - Degree in general management or tourism and hospitality management. - Good command in English both speaking and writing. - Computer Literacy (Ms. Word, Excel, Outlook). - 3-5 years’ experience as Assistant/Operation Manager in Travel Companies. - Experience with position requirements will be encouraged to apply.
