*Job Purpose
To act as a lead person, advice and support each subordinate in delivering the quality for Quantity Surveyor works. and implement the company standard operating procedures for Quantity Surveyor in order to achieve the goals for all the projects and/or introduce a procedure that can improve the growth of the Quantity Surveyors.
*Key Areas of Responsibility
• Project Cost Management
o Leading the preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and estimates for super luxury condominium projects
o Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure they remain within budgetary constraints.
• Contract Management
o Managing and understanding international contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
o Overseeing contract administration, focusing on procurement processes, including direct purchasing of materials and services.
• Tendering and Procurement
o Leading the tendering process by preparing tender documentation, evaluating submissions, and negotiating with contractors and suppliers.
o Coordinating with the procurement team for the direct purchase of project materials and services in line with project specifications.
• Collaboration and Communication
o Working closely with clients, architects, and engineers, ensuring project objectives align with client expectations.
o Effectively communicating in English to collaborate with expatriates and stakeholders involved in the project.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience:
o 8-10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background in both Consulting Engineering and Property Development sectors.
o Extensive experience working on super luxury condominium projects.
o Proficiency in managing international contracts and direct purchasing.
• Skills:
o Strong understanding of FIDIC and other international construction contracts.
o Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) to coordinate with expat teams.
o Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage high-value contracts.
