Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems, including materials, labor, and equipment.
Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms.
Managing project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring costs.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs and financial transactions.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely project delivery.
Work closely with architects, engineers, and other to ensure project alignment.
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
Preparing BOQ (bill of quantities) by studying specification sheets from the sales team.
Requirements:
University graduate or diploma of Electrical Engineering
2+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consulting, preferably in the construction industry.
Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled
Trade professionals, designers, and clients.
Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
