We are currently seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team and ensure the highest standards of safety on our signage projects. Job Description: As a Safety Officer for our signage projects, you will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining a safe working environment for our employees, subcontractors, and visitors. You will work closely with project managers and field personnel to implement safety protocols, conduct inspections, and provide training to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs specific to signage projects. - Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Collaborate with project teams to establish and enforce safety protocols during all phases of signage fabrication and installation. - Provide safety training and orientations for new employees and subcontractors. - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions. - Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions. - Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices; update safety policies accordingly. - Communicate safety concerns and recommendations effectively to all levels of the organization. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience. - Proven experience as a Safety Officer in construction, signage, or related industry. - In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, ANSI, etc.). - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, ASP, OHST) preferred. - Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software.
