Duties & Responsibilities • Plan, prepare and present lessons catering to the needs of students on varying age ranges within classes. • Use a variety of learning & teaching strategies appropriate for pupils, lesson topic & objective. • Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students' progress. • Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities. • Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students. • Maintenance of a good standard of discipline among students with due respect to their health and safety. • Meet and communicate with parents on aspects of a student’s learning Job Requirements • Degree in the field of Education or Related Discipline in Science, Chemistry or Biology. • High degree of working knowledge of subjects to be assigned. • At least 1 year teaching experience in Chemistry / Biology • Ability to create teaching aids and lesson plans. • Strong knowledge of educational techniques and methods for teaching young children. • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet & Email) • Ability to work well independently as well as a part of a team. • A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
