**Sous Chef - Anti Social Hours Co LTD** Who we are: Anti Social Hours Co LTD is home to Garage Sale (restaurant and delivery brand), Brit-ish (delivery brand), Taiwanese XXL Chicken (delivery brand), and Donuts & Disco (delivery brand). Our kitchen delivers an eclectic mix of comfort food, and we're seeking a Sous Chef to support and manage daily kitchen operations. You'll play a vital role as the "right hand" to our Head Chef, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen while maintaining the high standards of our brands. Sous Chef Role: We are looking for a motivated and skilled Sous Chef to be the on-the-ground leader in our kitchen, acting as the direct link between the Head Chef and the kitchen team. With the Head Chef focusing on broader operations, menus, and administration, you’ll take charge of the kitchen floor, ensuring the timely and high-quality preparation of food. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on responsibility, takes pride in their work, and enjoys leading a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be the key person overseeing kitchen activities, leading by example, and ensuring the Head Chef’s vision is executed to perfection. You’ll also be responsible for communicating any issues or improvements back to the Head Chef, keeping them informed of the day-to-day operations. Sous Chef Duties and Responsibilities: - Act as the direct liaison to the Head Chef, managing the daily kitchen operations on the ground. - Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality and efficiency. - Lead the kitchen team during shifts, guiding and training staff where needed. - Ensure the kitchen is well-organized and runs smoothly during service hours. - Proactively resolve kitchen issues and communicate any challenges or feedback to the Head Chef. - Maintain food safety standards and ensure the kitchen meets hygiene regulations. - Assist in managing kitchen inventory and placing orders when necessary. - Help introduce new menu items and maintain the quality of existing menus. - Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and in good working condition. Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in a back-of-house position (experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie is preferred). - A strong communicator who can work effectively with both kitchen staff and the Head Chef. - Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality food. - Ability to lead a team and stay calm under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. - Confident in both English and Khmer language skills. Benefits: - $450 per month salary (potentntially negotiable) - 6 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift. - 18 days of paid holiday per year. - Public holidays off: Pchum Ben & Khmer New Year.
