The Australia Cambodia Education Academy (AusCam) is seeking passionate and qualified educators to join our growing team.
*Salary range is negotiable based on qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Engagement: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons aligned with AusCam Academy standards; differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs; provide feedback and adapt practices; demonstrate strong subject knowledge and clear communication.
Classroom Management: Foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging environment; apply effective management strategies; encourage a culture of responsibility and academic excellence.
Assessment and Reporting: Design and implement formative and summative assessments; maintain accurate records; collaborate on moderation to ensure consistent grading and feedback.
Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional learning; contribute to school-wide initiatives and the sharing of best practices.
Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership; maintain effective communication with parents through meetings and reports.
Extracurricular Activities and Events: Support after-school programs, events, and student supervision during breaks to promote holistic development and school community spirit.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in the specialist subject area, in general education, or a related field
Further coursework or certifications earned post-graduation
TEFL certification
Progressively responsible teaching experience
A strong record of relevant experience with relevant certificate level qualifications will be considered, as will teachers-in-training mode to earn their certification
Professional and friendly manner
Passionate about teaching
Flexible and able to handle extra assigned duties such as substitute teaching, event support, etc
Good understanding of techniques and approaches in teaching and student learning
Good time management and organisational skills
Good social-emotional skills in relationship building, problem solving, and communicating
