Environmental Specialist/Expert

Position: Environmental Specialist Salary: Negotiable basing on experience + bonus and allowance (meal and transportation) Contract Type: Full-time, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week Location: Based in Cambodia with some occasional trips to Vietnam and Thailand Qualifications:  BSc or MSc in Environmental or Chemical Engineering  3-4 year experience in any textile processing industry  Knowledge on Higg Index Environmental Module and applicable local laws  Higg Verifier will be added advantage  L auditor on ISO 14001 or 51000 is plus  Knowledge on Water Management program  Knowledge on Energy Management program  Experience on Effluent Treatment Plant is plus  Good communication skills in English and Khmer (spoken and written) with strong interpersonal skills  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)  Excellent attention on details and accuracy  Ability to work independently and as part of a team  Excellent organizational and time management skills Main Responsibilities:  Carrying out site assessments (Air Emission Testing)  Conducting Higg Index FEM Verification  Evaluating environmental impact & It’s mitigation plan  Making recommendations on clean-up, reclamation and waste management activities  Assessing how a site complies with environmental regulations  Using mathematical techniques and computer modelling to assess or forecast past, present and future environmental problems  Designing, developing, testing and implementing technical solutions which will help organizations actively reduce their negative impact on the environment  Interpreting data  Keeping abreast of legislative changes in environmental law  Identification and consideration of potential contaminant sources  Obtaining and maintaining plans, permits and standard operating procedures How to Apply: Interested candidates can send their CV(s) to this contact information – E-mail: cch**@accordiausa.comClick To Sent Email Tel: 081881xxxClick To Call or 067600xxxClick To Call Notice for candidates: We (Accordia) consider our staff’s safety and well-being is paramount.
