The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of financial operations and employee relations.
About you
You will be supervising the daily activities of a company's accounts and finance department staff. You also monitor the prepared financial and accounts reports to ensure they are accurate and comply with the company's accounting policies and financial audit report.
Main Responsibilities of an Accounting Manager
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Oversee, analyze, and manage all accounting functions (A/R, A/P, G/L, fixed assets, cash collections/deposits, monthly closing, taxation, and others);
• Develop accounting processes, flowchart – specifically creating internal controls, chart of accounts, and define accounting policies, and process to improve of workflows.
• Review balance sheet, prepared detailed schedules across fixed assets, Accounts receivable, prepayment, Accounts payable, accrued expenses and inter-company account.
• Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing special reports.
• Monitor the daily banking of cheques.
• Liaise with external auditors for annual statutory audit
• Perform tax computation for annual submission purposes
• Check and verify Monthly tax return and Annual Tax On Income and other taxes computation for annual submission purposes.
• Yearly Financial Audit Report responsibilities either internal or external.
• Accounting System installation.
• Handle recruitment and manage internal accounting team – identify, recruit, oversee and supervise own supporting accounting staff.
• Administrate frequent financial reports – inspect and ensure proper recording of daily accounting entries and reconciliation of variances.
• Cash Flow forecasting – assist in budgeting and business forecasting as required.
• Process data – compile information, analyze accounting data, and produce financial reports for management.
• Responsible for timely monthly financial closed.
• Provide development and coaching to the team members, promote knowledge sharing and manage succession talent.
• Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the management.
Education & Experience
This position is open to Cambodian national only.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance or other related fields;
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA or pursuing these qualifications are appreciated;
• At least 5 to 10 years’ experience in inventory management or logistic company is preferred;
• MS office skills (advanced excel skills are advantage) and experience in system;
• Strong communications, leadership skills with ability to work effectively with all layers;
• Accustomed to working in a fast-pace, unstructured and complex environment;
• Familiarity with Cambodian finance and tax laws is mandatory;
• Thrive in matrix environments and adept at influencing and coordinating with different stakeholders;
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced skill in MS Office Suite (Advance in Excel, word, power point).
• Languages: Fluent in English, competency in either Japanese or Chinese (Mandarin) or other language valuable but not required.
Other Details
Working hours: Up to 48 hours per week; primary work days are Monday to Friday with work outside of office hours required on occasions
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Reports to: General Manager
Direct reports: 2 staffs and workers
Compensation: Tsutaya is offering a competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
