Overview: b. Consulting Experts is a consultancy firm based in Cambodia since 2017 with one office in Phnom Penh and one in Siem Reap, specialising in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Tourism.
Our consultancy company is partnered with local owners or conglomerates, all leaders in their sector: FMCG, hotels, food shops, real estate, and tourism development.
Today, we are seeking for a freelance financial consultant to support the work of our team.
We are looking for a qualified financial consultant to assist our organisation with essential financial tasks and analysis. The ideal candidate will work on a variety of financial tasks, including reviewing and managing budgets, updating financial forecasts, and providing strategic recommendations to improve financial management. Experience in Food & Beverage or Hospitality is appreciated. This is a remote position with flexible hours, although the consultant must be available to work in Phnom Penh.
You will work in English with a team of foreign and Cambodian national consultants.
Job Responsibilities: Investment Budget Review and Management Review and revise the investment budget to ensure it aligns with current financial goals and market conditions. Provide insights on potential improvements and cost optimization.
Investment Budget Follow-Up Dashboard Develop and maintain a dashboard to track investment budget performance and provide regular updates. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key financial metrics.
P&L Forecast Revision Review and revise the initial Profit & Loss (P&L) forecast to ensure it reflects realistic projections. Analyze the forecast and recommend adjustments based on market trends and business performance.
Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Forecast Revision Revise initial Balance Sheet (BS) and Cash Flow forecasts to provide more accurate financial outlooks. Ensure alignment with overall business strategy and financial goals.
Procurement Process and Dashboard Design and maintain a procurement dashboard for tracking and analyzing procurement performance.
Financial Management Recommendations Provide strategic recommendations on improving financial management practices across departments. Offer guidance on optimizing cash flow, reducing costs, and ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
Qualifications: Proven experience as an accountant, financial consultant or in a similar role. Strong understanding of investment budgeting, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting. Experience in designing and maintaining financial dashboards. Proficiency in Excel, and data analysis tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Familiarity with Food & Beverage / Hospitality industry is a plus.
