Nangkol Village in BKK1 is looking for a (local) head chef. The ideal candidate speaks English (no need to be fluent, but ideally a little better than basic) and has experience as per the below description;
- Culinary Expertise: Proven experience as a head chef or sous-chef in a similar setting (e.g., restaurant, hotel, or hostel). Strong knowledge of local and western cuisines; ability to create innovative and delicious dishes that cater to diverse tastes.
- Menu Planning and Development: Skill in developing menus (in collaboration with the GM) that are cost-effective and appealing to guests.
Ability to adapt menus to dietary restrictions and allergies.
- Financial Management: Understanding of food costing and inventory management.
Ability to control food costs and extra expenses.
- Kitchen Management: Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a kitchen team.
Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
