Job Responsibilities:
-Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners, CCTV.
-Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
-Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
-Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
-Setting up accounts for new users.
-Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
-Auditing and reporting of hardware and software inventory.
-Testing new technology.
-Possibly training junior staff.
-Support AUPP Public Computer, Office and Classroom, and Event support.
-Camera Security administrator.
-Wireless connection support.
-Account Management, IT inventory, and Library & LMS support.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
-Professional training, diploma or certification in systems administration.
-Undergraduate level education in IT or similar fields.
-Work Experience:
-At least 2 years of work experience in a similar functional environment with responsibilities.
-Ability to prepare documentation for evaluation and recommendation for management approval.
Technical Skills:
-Experience with troubleshooting and resolving desktop/laptop problems.
-Experience with networking (IPv4, DNS, vlans, Wi-Fi).
-Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure.
-Skills with network printers and other multimedia peripherals (projectors, microphones, amplifiers).
-Basic understanding of CCTV and access control systems.
Soft Skills:
-Good communications skills, both spoken and written in English.
-Should be IT Savvy with proficiency in writing documentation and reports.
-Good listening, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
-Possess personal traits: Initiative; self-driver, team player, detailed and meticulous.
-Strong analytical skills.
