1.Testing: Carry out tests on software applications following specified procedures. This could include functional testing, regression testing, system testing, and in some cases, performance and security testing. 2. Issue Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in the software. This is typically done using a bug tracking tool like JIRA. 3. Verification & Validation: Assist in verifying that the software meets all requirements and in validating that it performs as expected. 4. Test Planning & Design: Assist in designing test cases and test plans based on software requirements and specifications. 5. Collaboration: Work closely with the software development team to understand changes, review code, and identify potential areas of concern. 6. Learning & Skill Development: A key objective is to learn and improve. This includes understanding software testing principles, learning from more experienced QA engineers, and staying updated with the latest trends and tools in software testing. 7. Quality Improvement: Suggest improvements in the software, which could be in terms of functionality, user experience, performance, or security. 8. Documentation: Document test procedures, methodologies, criteria, results, and any other relevant information. Job Requirements 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 2. Some practical experience with Selenium and Cypress. 3. Understanding of software testing principles, including writing and executing test cases. 4. Basic knowledge of a programming language such as JavaScript or Python is a plus. 5. Familiarity with issue tracking tools, such as YouTrack and JIRA. 6. Ability to document and troubleshoot errors. 7. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. 8. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving aptitude. Work from Monday to Friday
