Position : Assistant Sales Manager Report to : Sales and Marketing Manager Department : Sales & Marketing
I. Job Summary: As an Assistant Sales Manager, your primary role will be to support the Sales Manager in overseeing the sales team and achieving sales targets. You will contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies, providing training and guidance to the sales staff, and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement. Your proactive approach to direct sales, marketing efforts, telemarketing, direct mail campaigns, appointment calls, and hotel tours will play a crucial role in driving business growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing strategic action plans to increase sales revenue in measurable and incremental ways. II. Job Responsibilities: • Assist the Sales Manager in developing strategies to improve sales and achieve targets. • Provide training and guidance to the sales team to enhance their performance. • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales techniques. • Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. • Support the Sales Manager in monitoring and evaluating the performance of the sales team. • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of sales staff. • Perform any additional tasks or assignments assigned by the Sales Manager or Director. II. Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. • Proven experience in sales or a related field. • Knowledge of the accommodation industry and understanding of market trends. • Ability to analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement. • Proficiency in using sales software and CRM systems. • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others. • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
