***Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the bookstore, ensuring smooth workflow across staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Supervise and support a team, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of efficiency and professionalism.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, meet revenue targets, and enhance customer experience through effective merchandising, promotional campaigns, and engagement activities.
- Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers and publishers to ensure product availability and variety.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners to enhance the bookstore’s reputation and expand product offerings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, store procedures, and industry best practices to uphold operational excellence.
- Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly performance reports, identifying opportunities for improvement and operational enhancements.
**** Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or retail management role, preferably in a bookstore or related industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience in sales, merchandising, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and POS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
