Position Review: The Cleaning Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the cleaning operations, ensuring that our premises are maintained to a high standard. This role involves managing the cleaning staff, scheduling, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, planning large-scale cleaning projects, and managing inventory and logistics.
1. Key Responsibilities: **Team Leadership and Training: -Recruit, train, and supervise the cleaning team, ensuring performance aligns with company standards. -Conduct evaluations, provide feedback, and support staff development.
**Project and Operations Management: -Plan and oversee large cleaning projects based on site inspections. -Coordinate schedules with other departments and supervise on-site activities. -Maintain and optimize cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory -Setting up logistics for large cleaning projects which can span multiple days/weeks. -Making sure projects are within budget as well as delivered on time.
**Quality and Safety Compliance: -Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness standards. -Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and provide staff training on safety protocols.
**Customer Relations: -Address client inquiries and complaints, maintaining high customer satisfaction. -Ensure spaces are clean and welcoming to meet customer expectations.
**Budget and Reporting: -Manage the cleaning budget, including supply procurement and cost-saving strategies. -Maintain records of operations, prepare reports, and analyze trends for continuous improvement.
**Equipment and SOP Management: -Ensure proper maintenance of cleaning equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements. -Assist in developing and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
2. Requirement / Experiences -Proven experience in a cleaning management role or similar. -Familiarity with cleaning industry standards and practices. -Strong leadership and team management skills. -Excellent communication and customer service abilities. -Organizational and scheduling expertise. -Attention to detail with a focus on quality control. -General proficiency in basic computer skills (Google/Microsoft/Excel) -Familiarity with cleaning equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals. -Understanding of health and safety regulations. Strong problem-solving skills. -Adaptable and able to work under pressure.
3. Qualifications: -Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional qualifications in management or cleaning services are advantageous. -Certifications: Relevant certifications in cleaning and hygiene practices are preferred.
