I. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare and review customs documentation, including import/export declarations, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other required customs forms. Ensure compliance with customs regulations, tariffs, and trade laws. • Submit customs documentation to relevant government agencies, customs authorities, or customs brokers. Facilitate the smooth flow of goods through customs by providing accurate and complete documentation in a timely manner. • Determine the correct tariff classification and valuation of imported or exported goods. Apply relevant codes, tariffs, and duty rates based on the nature, composition, and value of the goods. • Liaise and collaborate with customs brokers or freight forwarders to facilitate customs clearance processes. Provide necessary documentation, information, and instructions to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery of goods. • Maintain accurate records of customs documentation, transactions, and related information. Assist in conducting internal or external audits to ensure compliance with customs regulations, policies, and procedures. • Collaborating with certification bodies and other partners. This includes tracking the goods and the importer's identity to issue permits for the goods to leave. • Track every item from every stage of the shipment from the item shipped until it arrives. III. REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in related field and have broker license issued by GDCE • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Customs Broker, • Proficient in customs affairs of air freight or sea freight or road freight or express • Good command of Chinese and English for communication • Strong, effective and transparent delivery of communication with different stakeholders in the organization. • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadline. • Good command of English proficiency – both written and spoken. • Good knowledge of labor practices and laws. • Good communication, interpersonal skills, people and analytical skills • Good computer skills (Ms. Office, MS.
