Job Overview: We are looking for a design engineer with strong knowledge in architecture & Design to support our existing design team in current project of wayfinding signage at New Phnom Penh International Airport. Responsibilities: Design and develop creative signage solutions, from concept to final design. Conduct site analyses and understand architectural elements to inform signage placement, materials, and scale. Collaborate with project managers and clients to gather design requirements and ensure alignment with project goals and brand guidelines. Use CAD, sketchup and other tools to create detailed design plans and technical drawings. Use appropriate materials, finishes, and manufacturing techniques for each project, balancing design integrity with practicality and cost-efficiency. Coordinate with the production team to ensure feasibility and quality of designs, including testing prototypes and refining as necessary. Manage project and deadlines efficiently while maintaining high standards of design excellence. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field. Proven experience in architectural or design, with a strong portfolio showcasing past projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Rhino, etc.). Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and regulatory standards. Excellent spatial awareness, with the ability to translate 2D designs into 3D environments. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas to clients and internal teams. Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics and design functionality. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with sustainable design practices and architecture. Strong communication skills, fluent in speaking / reading / write in Khmer and English language.
