This role will be pivotal in driving our online presence, enhancing our website functionality, and optimising our digital marketing efforts. Position Summary: The Digital Marketing and Web Development Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimising our website, executing digital marketing strategies, and improving our online visibility through SEO and back-linking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress, Facebook Pixels, website building and design, SEO, coding, and backlinking. Key Responsibilities: 1. Website Management and Development: - Build, maintain, and update websites using WordPress. - Design and implement new features and functionality to enhance user experience. - Ensure high-performance and availability of websites, managing all technical aspects of the CMS. - Conduct website testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance. 2. Digital Marketing and SEO: - Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic. - Perform keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices. - Manage and optimise Facebook Pixel integrations to track, analyse, and report on campaign performance. - Develop and manage backlinking strategies to enhance domain authority and search engine rankings. 3. Content and Design: - Collaborate with the content team to create and publish engaging and SEO-friendly content. - Design and optimise website layouts, graphics, and user interfaces. - Ensure consistency in the company's branding and design standards across all digital platforms. 4. Coding and Technical Support: - Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code to implement website functionalities. - Provide technical support and troubleshoot website issues. - Work with various web development technologies and frameworks as needed. 5. Analytics and Reporting: - Monitor and analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Insights. - Generate regular reports on SEO performance, website traffic, and digital marketing campaigns. - Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field. - Proven experience with WordPress development and customization. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. - Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices. - Experience with Facebook Pixel implementation and management. - Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console). - Familiarity with back-linking strategies and tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong organisational and project management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with additional CMS platforms. - Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator). - Knowledge of social media marketing and paid advertising campaigns. - Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices. - Certifications in digital marketing or web development.
