Main Responsibilities of a Store Manager
Operational Leadership
•Oversee all aspects of operations, including menu development, front-of-house management, and store expansion.
•Ensure the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
•Implement best practices to optimize operational efficiency and maximize profitability.
•Plan and set up new outlets - design to operate with Project Lead.
•Consolidate, prepare and present monthly performance report
•Set and achieve of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor cost and profitability target • Teamwork-relations with co-workers and management
•Provide mentorship, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
•Lead and inspire a cross-functional team, including creative, marketing and operational staff to achieve common goals.
Market Research and Trend analysis
•Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
•Conduct regular market research to identify emerging opportunities and areas for improvement
•Adapt marketing strategies accordingly to stay ahead of the curve and maintain a competitive edge.
•Participation and input towards F&B Marketing activities.
•Customer Service
•Maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring quality experience in both the bookstore and F&B services.
•Handle customer complaints and resolve issues quickly.
•Foster a welcoming environment and ensure that both teams deliver consistent, friendly service.
Marketing & Promotion
•Develop strategies to increase foot traffic and sales for F&B.
•Propose and create events (Happy hour…etc.) to the Marketing team that align with food and café culture.
Education & Experience
•Degree in Business Administration, or a related field;
•10 years’ experience in Food and Beverage and managing teams effectively.
•Proven track record of success in sales, marketing and operations management, preferable in the food and beverage industry
•Strong understanding of Cambodian market dynamics, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
•Possess strong negotiation skills and can arrive at win-win solutions with partners and suppliers;
•Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
•Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a creative approach to problem-solving.
•Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant technologies.
•Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Languages
Fluent in English, competency in either Japanese or other language valuable but not required.
Other Details
Working hours: Up to 48 hours per week; primary workdays are Monday to Sunday with Roster Schedule.
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Reports to: Store Manager
Direct reports: F&B team member
Compensation: Tsutaya is offering a competitive base salary commensurate with experience
