Job Summary: The Hotel Front Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk team to ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, guest service, and overall guest satisfaction. The role involves managing staff, resolving guest issues, and ensuring that all front office duties are performed efficiently and in accordance with hotel standards. The supervisor acts as a liaison between the guests, management, and the front office staff. Job Description: - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest service. - Ensure front desk staff adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain a high level of professionalism. - Handle guest complaints, requests, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. - Ensure all guest feedback is addressed and documented. - Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest experience. - Train, coach, and mentor front desk staff. - Schedule shifts and manage team attendance to ensure adequate coverage. - Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. - Ensure accurate billing and processing of payments. - Reconcile cash drawers and oversee daily financial transactions at the front desk. - Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient operations. - Assist with room inventory management and liaise with reservations for availability updates. - Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, and health and safety regulations. - Implement and update front office procedures as needed. - Assist in maintaining reports and logs, such as occupancy reports, shift summaries, and guest feedback logs. - Provide data and reports to management for review and decision-making. Qualification: - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hotel front desk operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in hotel management software. - Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts with diplomacy. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. - Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
