Education: A Master's degree or over in marketing, business administration, or a related field is often required. 2. Experience: 5 years up of experience in marketing or a related field is typically required, with at least a few years in a leadership role. 3. Strategic thinking: The ability to think strategically and develop and implement marketing plans and strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. 4. Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team of marketing professionals. 5. Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions and measure the success of marketing campaigns. 6. Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively present ideas and strategies to stakeholders, including executives, colleagues, and clients. 7. Industry knowledge: Knowledge of the industry and market trends, as well as a deep understanding of customer behavior and preferences. 8. Creativity: The ability to think creatively and develop new and innovative marketing campaigns and strategies. 9. Project management skills: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Personality 1. Collaborative and Diplomatic: You need to work with other departments, stakeholders, and even outside agencies. Being open to collaboration and being diplomatic is critical 2. Competitive: Great marketers are competitive not only with other companies, they compete with themselves. They constantly challenge themselves to improve their methods and grow. They want to beat their last campaign and find new ways to move the metrics forward. 3. Honest and Opinionated: You’re ready for their honest opinion - and you should always want their honest comment. Check your company and department culture to make sure people feel comfortable sharing their opinion and that their opinions are actually heard. 4.
