Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all MEP designs and installations comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. 5. Conceptual Design: Develop conceptual designs for the MEP systems based on the project requirements and constraints. This may involve preliminary sizing, layout planning, and equipment selection. 6. Detailed Design: Create detailed engineering designs for the MEP systems, including precise specifications, drawings, schematics, and calculations. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility and integration with architectural and structural elements. 7. Material Procurement: Prepare a procurement plan for sourcing materials, equipment, and components required for the MEP systems. This may involve obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and establishing delivery schedules. 8. Construction Scheduling: Develop a detailed construction schedule for the installation of MEP systems, coordinating with the overall project timeline. Identify critical milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements. 9. Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation of MEP systems according to the approved designs and schedule.
