• Undertake front office duties, including meeting, greeting, welcoming, and attending both internal and external, and ensure guests’ safety and experience. • Be familiar with all hotel facilities, room rates, categories, availability, promotions, outlet operation hours. • Checking-in guests, checking-out, answering phones, and administering all routes of reservation to ensure that room bookings are made and recorded accurately. • Keeping up to date with room rates, ability, and special offers to provide accurate information to guests. • Ensuring that all reservations to cancellations are processed efficiently without no-show. • Building a good rapport with all guests’ concerns and resolving any complaints quickly to maintain high quality service. • Dealing with customer complaints or requests in an effective and courteous manner, providing extra mile assistance and seeking solutions as quickly as possible to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. • Be responsible for accurate and efficient accounts. • Administering the general petty cash system and float in an accurate manner. • Assisting in always keeping the front desk and lobby area clean and tidy. • Reporting any maintenance, breakage, unsafety, or cleanliness problem to the Night/relevant manager. • Auditing and reconciling financial statement accounts such as receivables and revenues. • Investigating and resolving out-of-balance accounts. • Processing invoices, preparing checkout bills, preparing arrival vouchers. • Preparing daily collection report, daily movement report, daily incident report, arrival & departure report. • Assisting other outlets duties (bar, spa, room service) relevant to the post or correction when required. • Attending all training whenever requested by the management (first aid, health, safety, etc.) • Adhering to all fire safety procedures and assisting in the evacuation process in the event of fire. • Ensuring safety by following guest check in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to security, manager, or MOD. • High School GED or above or an associate degree in hospitality or 0-2 years’ experience as receptionist. • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language. • Good computer skills, with knowledge of booking systems, both in-house and online. • Hands-on experience of taking credit/debit card payments over the phone and in-person. • Ability to work effectively and contribute to a team. • Self-motivated and energetic.
