Pet food production team leader

I. Job Responsibilities 1. Production Planning: Organize and assign tasks within the team according to the production schedule, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality output. 2. Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality standards; report and assist in handling any abnormalities. 3. Equipment Management: Inspect production equipment regularly, arrange routine maintenance, and ensure smooth operation. 4. Team Management: Supervise work assignments, attendance, and on-the-job training for team members to improve overall skills and efficiency. 5. Safety Management: Implement factory safety policies, ensure employees follow operational procedures, and minimize workplace accidents. 6. Production Records: Maintain accurate production reports, record production data, and ensure documentation is complete. 7. Material Management: Use raw materials efficiently, reduce waste, and support inventory management to ensure a smooth supply. 8. Process Improvement: Provide suggestions for optimizing production processes, enhancing efficiency, and improving team workflow. 9. Communication & Coordination: Maintain effective communication with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth production operations. 10. Emergency Handling: Respond promptly to production issues such as equipment failures or material shortages to maintain stability.
II. Job Requirements 1. Education: High school diploma or above; preference for candidates with backgrounds in food processing, mechanical engineering, or management. 2. Industry Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the food or pet food industry, with prior team management experience preferred. 3. Production Management Skills: Familiarity with food production processes, quality control, and safety regulations. 4. Team Leadership: Strong organizational and coordination skills to lead a team and ensure efficient production. 5. Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey production tasks and coordinate solutions to production issues. 6. Execution Ability: Proactive, responsible, and capable of enforcing production standards and management policies. 7. Learning Ability: Willing to acquire new knowledge and continuously improve management and technical skills. 8. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a factory environment and able to work shifts or overtime as needed. 9. Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in office software such as Excel and ERP systems for recording production data. 10. Professionalism: Honest, disciplined, and committed to following company policies and ethical standards.
