Responsibilities: Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems, including materials, labor, and equipment. Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms. Managing project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring costs. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs and financial transactions. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely project delivery. Work closely with architects, engineers, and other to ensure project alignment. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices. Preparing BOQ (bill of quantities) by studying specification sheets from the sales team.
Requirements: University graduate or diploma of Electrical Engineering 2+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consulting, preferably in the construction industry. Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled Trade professionals, designers, and clients. Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products. Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
