I. Job Summary:
The Receptionist at Himawari Hotel Apartments is vital in providing exceptional customer service to guests. This position encompasses the responsibilities of a receptionist, guest relations officer, concierge, cashier, bell staff, and night auditor. Located on the picturesque banks of the Tonle Sap River and the Chaktomuk River, the hotel offers a serene and luxurious experience. As a Receptionist, you will contribute to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay.
II. Job Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously, providing necessary information and assistance.
• Act as a guest relations officer, building strong relationships with guests and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their stay.
• Assist guests with concierge services, such as making restaurant reservations, arranging transportation, and providing information about local attractions.
• Process cash transactions accurately and follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Provide bell services, including assisting guests with luggage and maintaining a neat and organized lobby area.
• Perform night audit functions, reconciling daily financial transactions, and generating reports.
• Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming appearance in the reception area.
• Perform any additional tasks or assignments assigned by the Room Division Manager/Assistant Front Office Manager/ Director.
II. Qualifications and Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality, with a genuine desire to assist guests.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options.
• Proficiency in operating computer systems and software.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and follow proper cash handling procedures.
