Job Summary: The Recruitment Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process. This includes attracting, sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates who align with the company’s needs and culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with hiring managers, ensure a smooth recruitment process, and deliver a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition: Oversee the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding. Develop and post job advertisements across various platforms (job boards, social media, internal networks). Source and screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates for further assessment. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Provide guidance to hiring managers on recruitment strategies, job requirements, and salary expectations. Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process. Candidate Sourcing: Use job boards, social media, networking events, and recruitment agencies to build a strong pool of candidates. Leverage LinkedIn and other professional platforms for headhunting and passive candidate sourcing. Attend career fairs and recruitment events to promote the company’s employer brand. Recruitment Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates and recruitment activities. Prepare and send offer letters, contracts, and other related documents. Handle administrative tasks related to hiring processes, such as background checks, references, and employment verifications. Employer Branding: Assist in promoting the company as an employer of choice by showcasing its values, culture, and growth opportunities. Help organize and participate in employer branding activities like campus recruitment drives and social media campaigns. Data Management & Reporting: Keep track of recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and candidate sources, and report regularly to the HR team. Provide suggestions for improving the recruitment process based on analysis and feedback. Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Recruitment Officer, Recruiter, or in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software. Experience in interviewing, assessing candidates, and conducting reference checks. Skills & Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of labor laws and hiring best practices. High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information. Preferred: Experience with employee onboarding or HR generalist tasks. Familiarity with social media platforms for recruitment (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter). Relevant HR certifications or qualifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD). Working Conditions: Standard working hours are [insert hours], Monday through Friday.
