The Recruitment Officer is responsible for overseeing the recruitment process within the organization. This includes sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates for job openings. The role ensures a smooth and efficient recruitment process while maintaining a positive candidate experience and aligning with the company’s hiring goals and culture. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sourcing and Attracting Candidates -Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various job roles. -Post job vacancies on relevant job boards, social media, and company websites. -Utilize networking, job fairs, and partnerships with educational institutions to identify potential candidates. -Build and maintain a talent pool for current and future hiring needs.
2. Screening and Shortlisting -Review resumes and applications to assess qualifications and suitability for job positions. -Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidates’ experience, skills, and cultural fit. -Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and department heads. -Ensure timely feedback to candidates regarding their application status.
3. Interviewing and Selection -Assist hiring managers in the interview process by preparing interview questions and evaluation criteria. -Organize and conduct interviews, either in person or remotely, to assess candidates’ qualifications and experience. -Ensure the candidate selection process aligns with company policies and equal opportunity guidelines. -Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates.
4. Onboarding and Orientation -Assist in the preparation of onboarding materials for new hires. -Conduct orientation sessions for new employees to introduce them to company policies, culture, and benefits. -Ensure that all required documentation and contracts are signed and filed.
5. Recruitment Reporting and Analysis -Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate information, and hiring statistics. -Prepare reports on recruitment progress, cost per hire, time to fill positions, and other key metrics. -Analyze recruitment strategies and suggest improvements for better candidate sourcing and hiring efficiency.
6. Employer Branding and Employee Referral Programs -Promote the company as an employer of choice to potential candidates. -Manage and promote employee referral programs to encourage internal recommendations for open positions.
Key Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. -Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment or HR. - Familiarity with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS). -Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. -Ability to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit. -Knowledge of labor laws and equal opportunity guidelines. -Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously. -High level of organizational and time management skills.
