Position Summary:
The Senior Sales Consultant at Hanuman Travel is an experienced and highly skilled sales professional responsible for driving sales of our travel products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the travel industry, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. The Senior Sales Consultant will build strong relationships with clients, provide expert travel advice, and create customized itineraries that meet their individual needs and preferences. This role also involves mentoring junior sales consultants and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for program creation and quotations within our agreed timescales with agency partners and customer enquiries.
• Discussion with Product team to provide best alternatives or new products when appropriate.
• Working with and reporting to senior colleagues on all matters, including workflow, training requirements and price analysis.
• Supporting Sales team colleagues and providing training advice and instruction when appropriate.
• Oversee accuracy of bookings with Sales and Reservations team.
• Maintaining and reporting on performance of agencies to management.
• Responsibility for managing and reporting agency revenue.
• Maintaining updated contracts with suppliers.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor Degree in Tourism, Management.
- Language: Excellent skills in reading, writing and speaking ENGLISH.
- At least 2-3 years’ work experience as Sales Consultant or related field, especially within tourism industry.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Ms. Word & Excel, Advance Excel, Ms.Outlook) and good knowledge in using computer, email.
- Good critical thinking and effective communication skills.
- Experience in budget-planning would be a plus.
- Understanding of the dynamics of a successful team.
