Duties and Responsibilities: _ Oversee the service department, ensuring the team meets performance targets in terms of repairs, maintenance, and customer satisfaction. _ Manage service schedules, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of repair and maintenance jobs. _ Hire, train, and supervise service staff, including technicians and service advisors. _ Ensure high standards of customer service, addressing any issues or complaints promptly. _ Monitor the department’s financial performance, managing budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying ways to increase revenue and reduce costs. _ Maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring that the parts department is stocked and the team has the tools they need. _ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in the service department. _ Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training to improve staff skills and efficiency. _ Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to ensure smooth operations across the dealership. _ Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and service procedures, ensuring the department remains competitive and up-to-date.
