1. Develop and implement effective shipping and logistics strategies to meet customer service objectives and company goals. 2. Coordinate and manage the shipment of products from suppliers, ensuring accurate documentation, packaging, and labelling. 3. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and accurate delivery. 4. Monitor and track shipment activities, providing regular updates to stakeholders and resolving any issues that may arise. 5. Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and availability of products for shipment. 6. Evaluate and select transportation carriers based on cost, reliability, and service level agreements. 7. Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to optimize transportation costs. 8. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and international trade requirements. 9. Implement and maintain efficient shipping and logistics processes, including automation and use of technology. 10. Resolve any shipping discrepancies, such as damaged or lost shipments, and work with carriers and suppliers to resolve claims. 11. Review and analyse shipping data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. 12. Train and supervise shipping staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
