- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff.
- Delegation: Assign and review the work of accounting staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Monthly Close: Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconciliation: Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all accounts.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Budget: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Internal Control: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Efficiency Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Technology Use: Utilize accounting software and other technologies to streamline operations.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of accounting experience and at least 2 years in a management role is preferred.
» Fluent in English (Chinese preferred) and a clear understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, SAGE ACCPAC).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, able to work under pressure. Working hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, closed on national holidays. The company provides a stipend to contract employees.
