Job overview: For our new project, we are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Spices Road Bistro-Lounge. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, attentive to details, and eager to deliver exceptional dining experiences in our spice-inspired bistro-lounge.
Key Responsibilities: Guest Service: Provide a warm and friendly welcome to guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring all their needs are met throughout their dining experience. Menu Knowledge: Be well-versed in the menu, including food and beverage options, to make recommendations and answer guest questions. Order Coordination: Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders. Table Management: Set up, clear, and reset tables efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Payment Handling: Process guest bills accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and provide receipts. Problem Solving: Address guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues to the supervisor if necessary. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience. Compliance: Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications: Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar role is a plus but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation with a positive and friendly attitude. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
