Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Laundry Manager to oversee our laundry operations. The Laundry Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring efficient and timely processing of all laundry, managing inventory and supplies, maintaining equipment, and supervising a team of laundry staff. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills, a keen eye for quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the laundry department, including scheduling, staffing, and training of employees. Ensure efficient and timely laundry processing, including linens, uniforms, and guest clothing. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area. Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and stocking laundry chemicals and other necessary items. Inspect finished laundry to ensure quality standards are met. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed. Implement and enforce safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Monitor and control operational costs and expenses. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other departments. Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding laundry services. Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or healthcare setting. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
