Mechatronics Engineer (Wiring Production)

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Mechatronics Engineer to join our robotics team. This role focuses on overseeing the production, testing, and quality assurance of wheeled robots, with a particular emphasis on wiring looms, assembly configurations, and system integration. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for advancing robotics technology.
Key Responsibilities Production, Quality Control and Documentations - Oversee production and Ensure high-quality robot wiring looms and assemblies. - Inspect and test wiring connections; manage wiring diagrams - Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, findings, and design updates. - Prepare comprehensive reports on production, testing, and quality assurance activities.
Testing & Troubleshooting - Perform end-to-end testing of robots and subcomponents, ensuring adherence to quality standards. - Identify and resolve issues in wiring, system connections, and assembly. - Implement thorough testing processes to validate the reliability and robustness of the robot’s design.
System Configuration - Configure and optimize components, including cameras, communication devices, antennas, and Wi-Fi systems. - Conduct thorough testing for connection, latency, and functionality.
Design & Improvement - Collaborate on design enhancements using CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360. - Recommend and implement improvements to optimize robot performance. - Recommend on existing designs to incorporate new tools or features.
Procurement & Coordination - Assist in sourcing and procurement; track progress. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and assembly of robot components. - Ensure all tools and equipment are in placed prior shipment.
