This listing is for an absolutely terrific pair of minitower speakers which I bought brand-new in Bangkok for about $650 less than ten months ago.
My reason for selling is that they're too much speaker for my room -- which I knew when I bought them, but still thought I could tweak. And I did: They sound fantastic here now, with the ports plugged and with a few other tweaks that I'll be happy to talk more about, but they're still too much speaker. I've switched to a pair of stand-mounts by Fyne Audio and I'm much happier with them in my use-case. But these really are terrific, especially through the crossover. They're a Paul Bartman design and he's always conscientious about the high frequencies and the upper mids being fully integrated, and you hear it with these immediately.
I have the original boxes, packing materials, and manual, and I'll include some speaker links that I used to replace the icky bridge plates that they came with, as well as some pavers that raise the speakers about 12cm and really tighten up the sound IMHO.
No delivery without payment first, cash only, no ABA, and I must approve the condition of the notes before I release the speakers. Please, before you start contemplating a counter-offer on the price, please know that I don't mind hanging onto these. They've got a hangout corner in my home office, and the situation as it stands is that every couple of weeks I bust them out for a day or two and enjoy them all over again. I have no intention of distress-selling these; I don't need the money. I'm only discounting them because they're not new, and also because Phnom Penh is not the town for re-selling barely used high-end audio kit, as you will have noticed.
