Night Auditor
1. Guest Services & Check-In/Check-Out
- Assist late arrivals with check-ins and early departures with check-outs.
- Handle guest requests (extra towels, room changes, wake-up calls, etc.).
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and room assignments.
- Address complaints or emergencies (noise, maintenance issues, etc.).
2. Night Audit (Financial & Reporting Duties)
- Verify and balance daily transactions (room revenue, restaurant charges, etc.).
- Run night audit software to close the day’s accounts.
- Prepare daily reports (occupancy, revenue, discrepancies, cleaning report) for management.
3. Security & Safety
- Monitor CCTV and ensure apartment security.
- Control access to the apartment after hours.
- Handle suspicious activities or disturbances.
- Assist in emergencies (fire alarms, medical issues) and follow protocols.
4. Communication & Coordination
- Answer phone calls and late-night inquiries.
- Relay messages for guests and staff.
- Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, security).
5. Cash Handling & Float Management
- Verify cash drawer and prepare for the next day.
- Process payments and refunds if needed.
6. Skills Required:
- Strong attention to detail (for audits).
- Customer service & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
The night shift ensures that the apartment runs smoothly even when most staff and guests are asleep, making it a critical role in front office operations.
