Job Description
This position is responsible for reviewing loan applications, analyzing and evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers, improving credit turnaround time, and subordinate staff capacity by providing credit training and coaching sessions to ensure that they have enough capacity to perform their daily jobs.

Head Office - Phnom Penh
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare the Commercial & Corporate loan proposal submitted from branches/RM.
Review and analysis of the financial statement and creditworthiness of the applicant.
Identify borrowers’ credit risks and propose corresponding mitigations.
Monitor the credit risk of the applicant.
Lead, guide, and support credit analyst staff in loan processing and reviewing credit proposals.
Submit the loan application to the approver and negotiate with branch staff/RM for loan conditions and/or further information.
Conduct a meeting and present a loan proposal to the Management Credit Committee (MCC) for credit decision-making on the loan requested, and respond to all concerns from the Credit Committee.
Assist the Head of department to prepare a loan proposal for submission to get approval from the Board Credit Committee (BCC).
Prepare and manage the daily reports for monitoring the turnaround time for loan processing at the head office.
Prepare credit material and provide training to relevant staff.
To support branches and provide loan assessment techniques
Participate in developing the loan procedure, guidelines, and policy
Perform tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills Specifications
Bachelor degree in banking/finance, business, economics, or other equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years of working experience related to credit and/or financial analysis.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding and knowledge of the microfinance and banking sectors.
Good interpersonal communication, teamwork, and being result-oriented.
Sound computer literacy, particularly in Word, Excel, the Internet, and email.
Proficiency in English is a plus.
High commitment with strong work ethics and integrity.
