Position Summary We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The Senior QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This individual will lead testing efforts, mentor junior QA team members, and collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software projects. • Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency. • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects. Work closely with development teams to resolve issues and verify fixes. • Performance and Security Testing: Conduct performance, load, and security testing to ensure software meets performance and security standards. • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical guidance and best practices in QA processes and methodologies. • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency. • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is built into the development process from the start. • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and QA metrics. Provide regular status updates and reports to management. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus. • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Appium) and test management software (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation. • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
